Parish & Wright
The founders of Parish & Wright, P.L.L.C., are rooted in rural America. Russell Parish and John T. Wright grew up on farms and bring more than 30 years of combined experience representing business entities across the State of Texas before regulators, policy makers and on various transactional matters as associates and of counsel for larger law firms. Parish & Wright’s founders are committed to being valuable members of their clients’ teams by providing transparent counsel that clearly reflects the client’s best interests.
In keeping with the small-town Texas roots of the firm’s founders, Parish & Wright prides itself on being advocates for rural interests, small businesses, and various types of nonprofits (member and nonmember). Parish & Wright is a small law firm that offers the services of attorneys with big-firm experience but that is uniquely positioned to work with clients on delivering services under billing terms that best meets the client’s needs while providing personal, responsive counsel unmatched by mega law firms.
About Our Practice
The firm's founders are practical business and regulatory attorneys in Austin with a rural Texas history, who understand the practical legal needs of their clients. We offer partner-level experience at predictable price points that are often lower than those charged by some big-law associates, as we seek to collaborate with our clients to assist them in being good stewards of the resources with which they have been entrusted.
At Parish & Wright, our goal is to glorify God in our practice as we accurately identify issues and deliver business-minded solutions that will best accomplish our clients’ objectives, even if that means referring clients to other counsel (in many cases, we know which firm in Texas, D.C., or otherwise, has more appropriate expertise for a particular matter). As a small firm, we have the flexibility to work with clients to deliver our services in a manner that best meets their needs, and we believe that problems are best avoided with good planning and counsel in advance.
